Challenge 11 Results

Hello there everyone. Once again I must apologize for the HUGE delay... if you've seen my post on the forum you'll know why. If not, well, I got a job/visited my granny/rode my horses/played music in North Carolina last week. But that doesn't excuse my being SO late with the results... I hope everyone will forgive me and we can get this thing finished up.

Unfortunately, Molly had to drop out... which stinks, because she rocks. But, she's awesome for making it this far... let's give her a hand. *claps*

Which means... congrats to the other three of ya'll... you're going to the finals. Pat yourselves on the back. :) However, I'm still going to give you SOMETHING for doing this challenge. Because otherwise, this would be kinda pointless. So... the winner of this challenge will receive two bonus points in the finale judging. Now before anyone gripes about it being unfair, the finale is judged not only on your final sets, but also on how well you've done over the duration of GUPS. :]

So, who wins said bonus points? Let's find out... wait a minute. We still have critiques to do.

At this point, I feel like I should warn ya'll... I'm listening to a blues band right now, I have no idea why but it's pretty enjoyable. So, sorry if this post makes no sense. But anyway.

CRITIQUES:
Izzy: The pretty colors and this layout made me see France right away... however, one other judge didn't see it at all. One judge said, "There's a little bit of space at the top that could have been utilized, but was left blank." Also, it was hard to see some of the accessories. But, the outfit itself was fabulous, and we loved your colors and mostly, your layout!

Speedy: This set definitely looked like New York. I loved the way you matched the background pieces to the outfit exactly... the outfit looks a little too costumey for my tastes though. One judge said, "On the left toward the middle there are a bunch of item's mushed and squished together, it's kind of hard to tell what they are!" The layout is sort of unbalanced, but this is a good set, just not your best. :)

Doodle: Great colors! This set jumps out at you and I love that. One judge said, "I love the warm, peacful, eye-catching colors and beautiful place-ture." The other judge complimented your colors as well. However, the outfit is missing something. It needs a couple more accessories to make it complete. Nice layout as well.

So who wins those cool bonus points? It's a tough call... let's find out.

You may remember that at the beginning of this challenge I promised to make sets for ALL the contestants... I'm still planning on doing that, and you'll be seeing sets this week. I'll post all of them up on the blog... there will be features and such going on with the finale and everything. So stay tuned... cool stuff is coming up.
