Grrr.... I'm sorry I'm late, again. Hopefully GUPS will be finishing up soon... if I'm counting right, we'll have three challenges to go... I think?
Anyways, critiques and stuff. :)
CRITIQUES:
Speedy: I personally loved your layout... that was my favorite part of this set, other than your trend of course ;] However, one judge thought it was a little too cluttered. Overall, we thought this was a very nice set, but it looked a little drab with nothing but shades of brown. Some more color would have made it even better.
Chloe: This is definitely your best layout so far! That's my favorite part of this set. The black and gold is very classy and elegant looking, and this is a beautiful outfit. There's not very much to it though- it needs more items, more accessories! Some more colors or something to make it stand out.
Izzy: Very pretty outfit. It's a cool idea for you to do a bunch of different trends, and you incorporated them all together wonderfully! One judge commented that all your sets are similar, and I must agree... it would be neat to see you do something different. As far as the layout, it's hard to see some of the items.
Doodle: What an awesome outfit! This is very creative and unique and the layout is just superb. One judge said something was bugging her about it but she couldn't quite figure out what... I think it's the fact that the set is ONLY red and black... it could use a couple of complementary colors.
Lizzy: We were divided on this set. I loved how unique it was and thought that your outfit was adorable, while lacking accessories. So was the layout, although it was a bit plain. One judge said the color scheme was too Christmas-y, and another wasn't a fan of your layout.
Bri: This set is so cool and original! I love that about your sets. I loved your take on these trends, however the outfit needed a few more accessories or something to jazz it up. For the most part, this is a nice layout, although it needs a bit more to it. One judge thought that the quote in the rope looked kind of odd on top of the dress.
Molly: All three of us commented that we were expecting more from you. I don't know if it's that you were rushed, or that you didn't choose a definite trend, but something is definitely off with this. The layout is decent but it's hard to see some of the items, and we weren't a fan of the corset and sequins together. However, the colors were cool and so was your choice of accessories.
It's getting harder and harder to judge these sets! But, as usual... there can only be one winner. And someone is going to have to go home tonight. Let's get started with the results.
